Fender Standard Series

Fender has kicked off its highly-anticipated return to NAMM with an exciting lineup of new instruments, amps and accessories. Leading the charge is the all-new Standard Series, the company’s first Fender-branded guitar line to be manufactured outside of the US and Mexico since the Modern Player range, which debuted over a decade ago.

Starting at an affordable 610.00 € apiece, these Indonesian-made Standard Series models are among the cheapest Fender-branded instruments you can purchase come April. So if you’re looking to add a Fender (or two) to your collection, here’s your chance to do so without breaking the bank.

The new lineup includes five models: Stratocaster, HSS Stratocaster, Telecaster, Precision Bass, and Jazz Bass, all designed to deliver the “approachable playability and inspiring tone” that the big F is often celebrated for.

First up is the Standard Series Stratocaster, powered by Fender Standard pickups that boasts “high-output sonic character” while maintaining the essence of the classic Fender sound. The guitar also features a Modern C-shaped neck for superior comfort and playability, and is available in finishes like Aqua Marine Metallic, Candy Cola, Olympic White, and Three-Colour Sunburst.

Like its SSS sibling, the Standard Series HSS Stratocaster is powered by a set of Fender Standard pickups and features a Modern C-shaped neck. The guitar arrives in three finishes: Aqua Marine Metallic, Candy Cola and Black.

Powered by a set of Fender Standard pickups and sporting a Modern C-shaped neck as well, the Standard Series Telecaster, with its signature twang and punch, is available in Aqua Marine Metallic, Olympic White, Three-Colour Sunburst, as well as a sweet Butterscotch Blonde that harkens back to Fender’s storied history.

Bassists are equally well-served with the Standard Precision Bass and Jazz Bass models. Like the guitars, both basses feature a Modern C-shaped neck for effortless playability, and are powered by Fender Standard pickups for those iconic, versatile tones. The Precision Bass is available in Candy Cola, Olympic White, Black and Three-Colour Sunburst finishes, while the Jazz Bass comes in Aqua Marine Metallic, Black, Three-Colour Sunburst and Olympic White.

“We constantly strive to provide forward thinking designs and unparalleled tonal adaptability with all of the guitars and amps that we release,” said Justin Norvell, Executive Vice President of Fender Products. “As with every product we develop, we aim to balance tradition whilst also evolving to meet the requirements of musicians spanning various genres and playing preferences.”

“Fender’s 2025 lineup showcases a diverse range of products,” says Tammy Van Donk, Executive Vice President of Fender Sales. “We’re excited to bring our new offerings back to NAMM and engage directly with our dealers in this unique setting that NAMM provides. Designed with precision and passion, this collection delivers unmatched sound quality and playability for today’s musicians.”
