Heller | F-16 Dark Falcon 1/48 Model Kit
The first F-16 joined the Belgian Air Force (BAF) fleet in 1979 to replace the F-104 Starfighter. At that time the BAF decided to create an F-16 Demo Team. This gave them the opportunity to show its jets and the skills of Belgian military pilots. This tradition continues to this day. In 2018, Sr Cpt Darte, aka ‚Vador‘, became the 19th F-16 pilot to continue this tradition for three consecutive years, performing spectacular and technical manoeuvres, such as very tight glide loops and the 8-sided barrel roll, which require extreme precision and timing.
