With “Bangerz,” Miley Cyrus left her good Hannah Montana image behind with a real bang ten years ago. Now the album is being released on vinyl for the first time outside the U.S. in the “10th Anniversary Edition.
With a new label, new producers, a new sound and a completely new look, the then 20-year-old presented herself as a young artist to be taken seriously. Away from the rather shallow country-pop of her alter ego from the Disney Channel, towards a modern sound with hip-hop and R’n’B influences.

The album’s guest list reads as impressive today as it did ten years ago and includes Britney Spears, Nelly and Ludacris, among others. The new “10th Anniversary Edition” also includes the bonus track “23,” which features Miley with Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J.
The “Bangerz (10th Anniversary Edition)” is available on black and sea glass vinyl and includes a new poster and packaging, previously unreleased photos and the bonus track “23.”
